Disc Golf Course Safety – Eastway Park DGC

When designing a disc golf course it is important to consider all safety aspects. When a drop-off is inevitable it may be prudent to reduce the number of discs that enter the unsafe area or prevent players from accessing discs in an unsafe way. I built this wall to prevent drives and green roll-aways from accessing a particularly steep embankment along a creek. Terraced stairs were created at a safer entry spot for players to retrieve discs. This reduces risk to players trying to find and recover their discs.
